"A FANLISTING?"
What's a fanlisting? Well, the word is quite literal in its meaning: a fanlisting is, haha, a listing of fans! Basically, big-time nerds (like me) use our awesome web designing skills (unlike me) to create simple, but thoughtful sites dedicated to the things we're major fans of (in this case, the Xenomorph), as well as allowing other people to apply and be publically listed so that the rest of the vast world wide web can see that they're also a fan!
"WHAT'S THIS ONE ABOUT?"
This fanlisting is dedicated to the Graverobber/Shilo Wallace pairing/friendship from the underappreciated rock/goth musical, REPO! The Genetic Opera. Graverobber represents freedom and truth for the extremely sheltered, curious Shilo.
Shilo represents purity and untouched innocence in a world of corruption, legalized murdering and deceit. The two come together three times in the film (if you include the deleted scene) and each time it seemed that whatever bond they'd formed had grown stronger and more familiar.
Their relationship can be interpretated in different ways: big brother, little sister; lovers; boss, employee; opposite friends, etc.
"WHY THE NAME 'LIKE A NIGHTLIGHT'?"
It was a lyric in the song/deleted scene, "Needle Through a Bug."
"SWEET! I WANNA JOIN! IS IT FREE?"
Absolutely! As free as the site that's hosting this listing. Only thing that's required is your first name (or realistic nickname) and your country, but to make sure you know everything before joining, I recommend that you read the rules below first!
